Seymour hit Camp Point Central with a four-run seventh inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers came up short against the Indians, falling 15-2. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.
Nate Peters made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Garrett Neisen, who went 3-for-4 with one double.

At the plate, Colby Desollar was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Parker Bell also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Beardstown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Beardstown pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Camp Point Central, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
Camp Point Central couldn't quite get it done against Beardstown in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 6-3. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
