On Saturday, St. Charles had to suffer through a rough 53-16 loss at the hands of St. Patrick. St. Charles was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 22-0.
St. Patrick found their leader in underclassman Brady Leonard, who rushed for 207 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for ten yards and two touchdowns. Leonard was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 53 yards. Brayden Simon also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
St. Charles' defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for St. Patrick, the win was the sixth in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
