Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Marysville Indians, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a 21-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Summerville on Friday. Marysville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Elias Delozier threw for 95 yards on eight of 15 attempts. Dennis Syders was his top target, gaining 81 total yards.
Marysville now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Summerville, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
Marysville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Summerville will head out on the road to face off against Sonora at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sonora will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
