Volleyball Recap: Evergreen Has No Trouble Against D'evelyn + How To Watch

Evergreen's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the D'Evelyn Jaguars 3-0. The match marked the Cougars' most dominant win of the season.

While Evergreen won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-12, 25-16.

Despite the defeat, D'Evelyn saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Chelyn Kwon had 13 digs and two assists. Arianna Griffin also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

With the victory, Evergreen broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-8. As for D'Evelyn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Evergreen is set to face off against their familiar foe Green Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, D'Evelyn will challenge rival Standley Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
