The Cunningham Wildcats can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. Everything went their way against Kinsley as Cunningham made off with a 70-47 victory. The win was just what Cunningham needed coming off of a 66-34 loss in their prior contest.
Leading Cunningham to victory were Luke Albers and Will Wegerer. Albers dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Wegerer scored 27 points along with seven assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke McGuire, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Cunningham is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Kinsley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cunningham will face off against Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kinsley, they will head out on the road to square off against South Central on Tuesday. South Central will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
