The Brenham Cubs will be playing at home against the College Station Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brenham is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
On Friday, Brenham was the victim of a rough 9-1 defeat at the hands of Magnolia West. Brenham has not had much luck with Magnolia West recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, College Station scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Rudder a 5-0 shutout. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
College Station hit Rudder with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Tyler Kenny (2),
Ethan Riechman (2), and
Anthony Peacher.
Brenham has not been sharp recently as the team has lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10-3 record this season. As for College Station, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2-4.
