The Ketcham Indians will be home for the holidays to greet the White Plains Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though North Rockland scored an imposing 64 points last Tuesday, Ketcham still came out on top. Ketcham walked away with a 73-64 win over North Rockland.
White Plains can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They came out on top against New Rochelle by a score of 45-37.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead White Plains to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sequoia Layne, who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and six assists. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for her. Ineivi Plata was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Ketcham's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0. As for White Plains, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Ketcham came up short against White Plains when the teams last played back in March, falling 42-33. Thankfully for Ketcham, Aliya Mciver (who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
