Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Le Lycee Lions, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell just short of the Fighting Lancers by a score of 2-1. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Le Lycee couldn't quite close it out.
Le Lycee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Western Christian, the win got them back to even at 9-9-1.
Le Lycee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Western Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Samueli Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Samueli Academy is coming into the match with six straight wins at home, meaning Western Christian will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
