The Franklin Road Christian Minutemen will challenge the Christian Community Colts at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  point totals in their previous games.
Last Saturday, Franklin Road Christian ended up a good deal behind Lancaster Christian Academy and lost  70-55.
 Despite their  defeat, Franklin Road Christian saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Pierre DeShields, who  went 6 for 9  en route to 14  points in addition to six  boards and three  steals, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was  Mason Alcorn, who  went 5 of 9  on his way to 12 points and eight  rebounds.
 Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Christian Community, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Thursday. They walked away with  a   65-52  win over South Haven Christian  on Saturday.
 Christian Community pushed their record up to 11-15 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 65.8 points over those games. As for Franklin Road Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 21-13.
 Franklin Road Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their  game against Christian Community  when the teams last played  back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with  a  59-54 win.
