Alpha Omega Academy took a 37-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Zulch. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Alpha Omega Academy in their matchups with North Zulch: they've now lost five in a row.
Alpha Omega Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kathryn Peach, who scored 10 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Peach scored a full 34.5% of Alpha Omega Academy's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Savannah Valles, who scored 10 points along with 5 steals.
Alpha Omega Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for North Zulch, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Alpha Omega Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Emery/Weiner at 3:00 p.m. on December 8th. As for North Zulch, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Fayetteville at 5:00 p.m.
