Tae Lynn Brabant was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she pitched nine innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.
Brabant wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Payton Perry, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Perry is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.
