Mackay put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Sho-Ban Chiefs 53-0. The Miners pushed the score to 46-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Chiefs had no chance of recovering from.
Mackay was led to victory by Roylee Jones and Grayden Bruley. Jones threw for 168 yards and five touchdowns, while Bruley picked up 96 receiving yards and three TDs. Bruley was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 67 yards. Dax Teichert was in the mix as well, providing Mackay with two scores.

As for Sho-Ban, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Watersprings at 4:00 p.m. on October 10.
