Crescent have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Minco at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.
If Crescent were riding high off their 36-13 takedown of Watonga three weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Crescent fell just short of Crossings Christian by a score of 14-16.
Meanwhile, Minco put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They made easy work of Northeast Academy and carried off a 34-6 win. 34 seems to be a good number for Minco as the team scooped up a win with the same point total in their contest two weeks ago against Watonga.
Minco's victory lifted them to 5-1 while Crescent's loss dropped them down to 3-3. We'll find out if Minco can add another positive mark to their record or if Crescent can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Minco's step.
