Shea Meech put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March on Monday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Meech and Naperville Central will challenge Waubonsie Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Redhawks are 8-2 against the Warriors going back to April of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
