Basketball Recap: Fredericksburg Extends Winning Streak to Two

Burbank came into Thursday's game looking for another win against Fredericksburg, but Tucker Hale wouldn't allow it. The Billies blew past the Bulldogs 58-17 on Thursday for which the team can thank Hale, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 15 points and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Fredericksburg has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 55 points this season. As for Burbank, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Fredericksburg won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Somerset Academy Collegiate at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Burbank, they will face off against Floresville at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
