Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hobbton walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Hobbton, who have now won seven matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

The win was the sixth in a row for Hobbton, bringing their record up to 13-7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those six games. As for Excelsior Classical Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Hobbton will take on Vance Charter on Thursday. Hobbton will need to watch out since Vance Charter have now posted at least four goals in their last four matches. Excelsior Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
