Basketball Recap: Goleman's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Goleman had won four straight games and Franki Sosa did his part to make it five on Tuesday. Everything went the Goleman Gators' way against the Hialeah-Miami Lakes Trojans as the Goleman Gators made off with a 74-52 victory thanks in part to Sosa, who almost dropped a triple-double on 21 points, 17 boards, and nine assists. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylon Hall, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 13 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played.

Goleman has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.7 points. As for Hialeah-Miami Lakes, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Goleman will be taking part in a tournament against Jackson at 5:30 p.m. on December 26th. As for Hialeah-Miami Lakes, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Dade Christian at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Dade Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
