Deerfield extended the longest winning streak in Trailways - Large this week by beating Horicon, 47-6. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Pardeeville moved up to 198 from 240 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bulldogs climbed the ranks as a result of besting Montello/Princeton/Green Lake 31-14.
Markesan's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Andrew Gibbons has thrown for 902 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Logan Grahn has 27 catches for 411 yards. Kyle Jahnke leads the league in rushing with 676 yards.
Pardeeville made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,613 from 8,772. The improvement came about via a 31-14 victory over the Phoenix last week.
