The Green Bobcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past East 73-32 on the road. Green has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Green found their leader in underclassman Abbie Knapp, who dropped a double-double on 45 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Knapp has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Matti Hayslip, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Green's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for East, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Green will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Huntington at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. Huntington will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. East will take on Oak Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Oak Hill comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last 11 games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
