Baseball Recap: Cambridge City Lincoln Has No Trouble Against Seton Catholic

Cambridge City Lincoln never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Seton Catholic Cardinals. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Oliver Webb was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

In other pitching news, Ben Bates looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He is becoming a predictor of Cambridge City Lincoln's success: when he allows at most three hits the team is 2-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't).
