After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Buena, Cienega was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Pueblo Warriors with a sharp 13-3 victory. With that win, the Bobcats brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

CARLOS DAVILA tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.

On the hitting side, Cienega let JAMES LINZMEYER and NANO LOPEZ run wild. LINZMEYER got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while LOPEZ scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave LOPEZ a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of JAKE RIESGO, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Cienega kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Cienega's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-7. As for Pueblo, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cienega will welcome Sunnyside at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pueblo, they will be playing at home against the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
