Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lee Central walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 66-43 margin over the Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans on Monday. The Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 contests by 23 points or more this season.

MyKeriyah Holmes had a dynamite game for Lee Central, dropping a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds. That's the most boards Holmes has posted since back in December of 2024. Serenity Williams was another key player, shooting 78% from the field to rack up 17 points.

Lee Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 16 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

Lee Central is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.7 points. With the defeat, Hunter-Kinard-Tyler broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-6.

Lee Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 67-28 win against North on the 27th. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
