The Shepherd Bluejays scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Harrison 73-30 at home. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Shepherd as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Shepherd had a senior duo take command as Kam Williams scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists and Colton Dysinger scored 22 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of TJ Powell, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Shepherd's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Harrison, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.
Shepherd will be playing at home against Pinconning at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Pinconning is coming into the match with four straight victories on the road, so Shepherd is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum. Harrison is on the road again on Monday and plays Clare at 7:30 p.m. on February 12th. Clarepresents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Harrison in Michigan (Clare is ranked 272nd, while Harrison is ranked 691st).
