The Mount Tabor Spartans will head out on the road to take on the Glenn Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mount Tabor has eight straight victories, the Bobcats have nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Friday, Mount Tabor faced the War Eagles in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Mount Tabor snuck past the War Eagles with a 62-56 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Meanwhile, Glenn came up short against the Demons on Friday and fell 63-51.
Mount Tabor has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Glenn, they dropped their record down to 6-14 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Mount Tabor strolled past the Bobcats in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 59-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mount Tabor since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
