Ava Hazelton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. That's the most RBI Tinney has posted since back in March of 2025. Abbey Mackey was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Saturday. West Scranton hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
