After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Valley, Carrabec was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Forest Hills Tigers as they made off with a 12-2 victory. The Cobras might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by seven runs or more this season.
Jillian Robinson was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aiyana Tibbetts, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. She is on a roll when it comes to triples, as she's now hit at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Ava Welch also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
