 In other batting news, Mize got a  massive  performance out of  Lizanna Waters, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-5. That's the most  runs  Waters has posted since back in April of 2024.  AK Easterling was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-5.
 Mize was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .405. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Richton only posted a  batting average of  .043.
 With the  loss, Richton broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-6. As for Mize, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
