Saline lost to Stevenson on Saturday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Hornets put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Saline's victory bumped their record up to 18-7-1. As for Stevenson, their loss dropped their record down to 15-17-1.
