The Water Canyon Wildcats can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 61-44 win over Millard. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Water Canyon also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Water Canyon got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dynonte Blackmore out in front who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Blackmore has scored all season. Another player making a difference was David Barlow, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds.
Water Canyon's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9. As for Millard, their loss was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-21.
Water Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Millard, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kanab at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
