Adding to the longest winning streak in Scenic Bluffs this week, New Lisbon beat Wonewoc-Center 72-12. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
6-foot-0 quarterback Brandon Schmitz of Cashton is the league leader in passing yards this season with 476. He has also thrown 5 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jack Hansen. The Brookwood star has 5 catches for 160 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when New Lisbon takes on Hillsboro. As it stands, the Rockets are in first, while the Tigers are in fourth.
The Panthers scaled the state rankings by moving to 303 from 335 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Royall was able to move up by defeating the Cardinals 34-28.
