The Crescent Loggers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 25 points or more this season. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2023 than the 52-25 stomp they got on the road against South Bend. The victory was familiar territory for Crescent who now have ten in a row.
Lukas Love was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 20 rebounds. The game was his eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Conner Bauers, who scored 16 points along with six steals.
Crescent's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for South Bend, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crescent will take on Darrington at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Bend, they will play host again and welcome North Beach, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
