The Klein Cain Hurricanes fell victim to the Tomball Cougars's stalwart defense on Monday and couldn't make it onto the board. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Klein Cain can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 355th, while Tomball is ranked 55th).
Klein Cain's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Tomball, they pushed their record up to 10-2-1 with that win, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Klein the next time they take the pitch. Tomball will host Klein at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Klein Cain will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on February 23rd.
