Boone Grove struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Washington Township racked up 11.
Washington Township's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brooklyn Campbell, who scored 8 points along with 17 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Little, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Boone Grove's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-10. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.8 points per game. As for Washington Township, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.
Boone Grove will be playing at home against Hanover Central at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hanover Central presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Boone Grove in Indiana (Hanover Central is ranked 75th, while Boone Grove is ranked 350th). As for Washington Township, they will head out on the road to face off against Chesterton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Chesterton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Friday.
