Despite the loss, Dixon still got an impressive performance from JJ Gulat, who rushed for 253 yards and five scores while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 102 yards. Gulat's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 16th straight game with at least 103 rushing yards dating back to last season. Sean Delaney also helped out as he racked up 130 rushing yards.

Andrew Boucher was his usual excellent self, rushing for 184 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 54 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kannon McBride, who threw for 132 yards and three TDs on only 12 passes.
