Blue Ridge never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against the Southwest Virginia Academy Conquerors as they made off with a 14-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Jays, who have now won six matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.
Lochlan 'Bear' Paul was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and three RBI. Blue Ridge is undefeated when Paul posts two or more runs, but 3-5 otherwise.
