Duchesne found their leader in underclassman Kira Grant, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 10 steals. Chezney Farnsworth was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 5 rebounds.
Union's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Duchesne, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Union will be playing in front of their home fans against Juan Diego Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Duchesne, they will take on Crimson Cliffs at 12:50 p.m. on December 1st.
