Waldron has struggled against Bethesda Christian recently, as their game on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Waldron's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Fischer, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fischer has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Shaw, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Waldron's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Bethesda Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waldron will take on Southwestern at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Southwestern is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Bethesda Christian, Bethesda Christian and Indianapolis Shortridge will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 27th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
