Genesee won the last time they faced Kendrick and things went their way on Monday too. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 17-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Genesee's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Kendrick, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Genesee will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
