First Assembly Christian Academy had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 35-point drubbing they dealt Gainesville Christian Community on Monday. The Eagles blew past the Warriors 66-31. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-17.

First Assembly Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason Burke, who shot 62% from the field en route to 18 points. What's more, Burke also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Trevor Rey was another key player, going 7-for-12 on his way to 16 points and three steals.

The win got First Assembly Christian Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Gainesville Christian Community, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
