Forest won the last time they faced Lake Weir and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Forest Wildcats breezed by the Lake Weir Hurricanes to the tune of 65-34. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Lake Weir's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amar Young, who posted five points and five rebounds. Marquese Fort also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Forest's record now sits at 14-4. As for Lake Weir, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.

Forest will face off against Vanguard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Vanguard knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Forest likes a good challenge. Lake Weir has already played their next contest (against Belleview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
