Suwannee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hamilton County Trojans. On the bright side, the 40- point performance marked the Bulldogs' highest-scoring contest to date.

Suwannee's record now sits at 0-7. As for Hamilton County, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Suwannee and Hamilton County will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Bulldogs see the court they'll take on Branford at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Hamilton County, their break will end when they face Jefferson County at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
