Columbine Gets a Boost from Basinger in 35-34 Defeat
Starting off the list is Columbine's James Basinger, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Basinger rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 66 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 66 yards.
With the loss, Columbine broke their 21-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-1. Basinger will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Denver South on Friday.

Zeke Andrews Delivers Electric Effort Vs Columbine
Zeke Andrews posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He threw for 179 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 82 yards.
The win (which was Ralston Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Andrews and Ralston Valley will face off against Denver East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Green Posts Huge Game in 29-21 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Jaiden Green stepped things up a notch to give Arvada West the 'W'. Denver East had no answer to Green as he picked up 40 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 87 yards on only 12 carries.
Green and Arvada West are on the road again on Thursday to play Chatfield at 7:00 p.m. Green will face off against Brock Narva, the Chargers' star running back. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Mark Snyder Makes It Two for Columbine
Another Columbine player making an appearance on this list is Mark Snyder. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards dating back to last season. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 63 yards.
On the season, Snyder has run in 15 touchdowns while averaging 129.4 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two rushing touchdowns.

Brycen Leal's Big Game Leads Chatfield over Denver South
Rounding off our Top Five is Brycen Leal of Chatfield. Leal rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Chatfield's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Leal and Chatfield will square off against Arvada West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
