After four games on the road, Graham is heading back home. They will take on the Seaforth Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Graham will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 492nd, while Seaforth is ranked 16th).
On Friday, Graham was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 42-37 to Bartlett Yancey. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Graham in their matchups with Bartlett Yancey: they've now lost eight in a row.
Meanwhile, Seaforth had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.8 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They came out on top against Rolesville by a score of 58-45.
The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Gabby White and Caitlyn Jones. White had a great game and scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Meanwhile, Jones was balling out in the loss, scoring 17 points along with six assists and two steals.
Graham has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for Seaforth, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
