In what's become a running theme this season, Bear Grass Charter gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Columbia 74-45 at home. Bear Grass Charter pushed the score to 55-34 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wildcats had little chance of recovering from.
Meanwhile, Cape Hatteras' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Hobgood Charter 84-50.
Bear Grass Charter's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Cape Hatteras, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-12.
Everything came up roses for Bear Grass Charter against the Hurricanes in their previous matchup back in January as the squad secured a 57-23 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bear Grass Charter since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
