The Clovis Wildcats fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 34-21 win over Capital on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Clovis also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Leading Clovis to victory were Jett Stone and Kash Roberts. Stone rushed for 141 yards and two touchdowns, while Roberts rushed for 192 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry.
Clovis' defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Leading the way was John Royal and his two sacks.
Clovis' victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Capital, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
Clovis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Capital is also done with their season.
