Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Snook Christian Academy). They blew past Escambia Academy 27-6 on Tuesday. With that victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.
Snook Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Lilly Lovin, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Lovin continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Hayes, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4.
Snook Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Snook Christian Academy's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Atmore Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Atmore Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .542. However, it's not like Snook Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .482. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
