A Season-Best Performance from Logan Dent Leads Salem over Charlestown
On Friday, Salem got the W thanks in part to Logan Dent playing the best football he has all season. Dent rushed for 231 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made a tackle.
If history really does repeat itself, Dent might just drop another big game when he faces off against West Washington on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Dent saw the Senators), he rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.

Adam Mull Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Adam Mull produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Salem to the win on Friday. Mull rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 76 yards.
This year, Mull has averaged 67.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 25 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 57.5 rushing yards.

Payton King Has Career-Day on Friday
Payton King posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He forced a fumble and made five total tackles. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making five total tackles.
The win (which was North Harrison's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. King and North Harrison will welcome Providence on Friday.

Gregory Hutcheson Dazzles in Brownstown Central Victory
Gregory Hutcheson was instrumental in extending Brownstown Central's winning streak to eight on Friday. Nobody could stop Hutcheson as he rushed for 193 yards on only nine carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
Brownstown Central pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Hutcheson and Brownstown Central will square off against Scottsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ryan Shields posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.
Charlestown is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. Shields and Charlestown will look to defend their home field on Friday against Eastern.
