McKeesport is 4-0 against West Mifflin since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The McKeesport Tigers will finish 2023 at home by hosting the West Mifflin Titans at 2:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
McKeesport had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Laurel Highlands 80-64 on Saturday. McKeesport's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Meanwhile, West Mifflin came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Clairton by a score of 58-46.
McKeesport's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for West Mifflin, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
