HEARTS for Jesus Christ entered their tilt with Lawrence Upper on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lawrence Upper Lions 71-42. The Guardians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 21 points or more this season.

HEARTS for Jesus Christ's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nick Lenarth, who went 7 for 10 en route to 22 points in addition to seven rebounds and three blocks. The dominant performance gave Lenarth a new career-high in points. Josh Elsesser was another key player, almost dropping a triple-double on nine points, ten boards, and ten assists.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Evan Rone, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Dominic Bell, who scored 11 points.

HEARTS for Jesus Christ is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.9 points per game. As for Lawrence Upper, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4.
