After flying high against Holly last Friday, Sangre de Cristo came back down to earth. The Thunderbirds had to suffer through a 56-22 loss at the hands of the Las Animas Trojans. Orion Martinez was nothing short of spectacular for Las Animas: he rushed for 156 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. Jerome Ethridge got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.
